Welcome to G.E.M.S Racing LLC!


G.E.M.S. Racing LLC is a NASCAR Racing team owned and managed by women based in Atlanta, Georgia, starting this year in the 2015 Xfinity Nationwide Series, The purpose of this team is to diversify opportunities to women of every culture who have interests in the motorsports industry. Opportunities include NASCAR & NHRA approved racing schools, Motorsports Mechanics, Motorsports Team Management, NASCAR racing crews, Motorsports vehicle detailing and maintenance, and more. NASCAR is the #1 national sports and for the last few years have had a 40% fan base of women. There are very few racing teams owned by women or that have female drivers. What makes this team different is that we make exceptional opportunities for women of color and dedicate a large portion of our revenue to organizations and charities that empower women all over the world. Our initiative is to give women the encouragement to seek out opportunities in life that are non traditional and give them a sense of competitive abilities. Racing in NASCAR is a sport dominated by mean through all of it's existence however NASCAR Executives realize that more women are becoming as interested in sports as men and are capable of participating at the same level as men is various ways. Although the numbers of women involved are currently small, they are growing. 

Danica Patrick became the first female Pole Winner In NASCAR Sprint Cup History: #10-Danica Patrick made NASCAR histor during Coors Light Pole qualifying for the Daytona 500, becoming the first female driver to win a pole at NASCAR's top level - the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Other women of the past and present continue to be recognized by their accomplishments in motorsports.

GEMS Racing will be added to the list of great ladies who have taken their interests in motorsports to a whole new level by driving in the Xfinity Nationwide Series and other races in the future. 
Our team includes women who do not let the lack of diversity deter them from living their dreams and women who are not afraid to get their hands greasy. Our teaprovides opportunities for women for many positions withing the company with great chances to progress. We even have our own cheering squad called the  "GEM SQUAD", which is not the typical group of cheerleaders one sees in football or basketball. The GEM SQUAD is a group of healthy and fit women from different career backgrounds, cultures, and images that diversity in women who are achievers. The duties of the GEM SQUAD is not only to cheer and encourage the driver, who is also a woman, but to support womens empowerment by visiting halfway houses and shelters where women who are facing domestic violence, poverty and homelessness
